Flow Studios ("we," "us," or "our") operates the QuillFlow mobile application and the quillflow.app website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully. By using QuillFlow, you agree to the practices described below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Data Storage and Security

We do not store your data. Voice recordings, transcribed text, and formatted output are processed in real time and are immediately discarded once the request is complete. Nothing is saved on our servers. We have no access to your dictation history, past transcriptions, or the content you create using the Service.

Any dictation history you see in the app is stored locally on your device and never leaves your phone.

Account information (such as your email address) is managed with industry-standard encryption and secure authentication protocols. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not store voice recordings or transcribed text, there is nothing to retain. All audio and text data is processed transiently and discarded immediately.

Account information is retained only for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. When you delete your account, all associated personal information is permanently removed, except where retention is required by law.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third-party services to help us operate the Service. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf. No user data is stored by these providers beyond the duration of each request.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or in response to a valid request from a law enforcement authority or government agency.
  • Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
